IC Markets Review 4
Ever since I opened an account with Raw Trading's ICMarkets I have had nothing but issues with an EA running on VPS. There is constant disconnections to the datacenter which would cause the EA to lose on important information. There servers are extremely unstable and so are their spreads, at one point I saw spreads go to 39 on XAUUSD this is when I had a lot of orders placed too which in turn also caused my margin to hit 50%They claimed that the metaquotes tick data was the same as their servers that show on the history center. You can see in the screen shot it has DAYS of missing data.Using Dukascopy tick data and running a backtest shows bars that IC Markets does not show and it caused the EA to place orders when it shouldnt. The backtest showed the orders closing before a major loss but with IC Markets that is not the case. I also have a friend with the exact same EA and configuration as my self and it did not place these crazy orders like on IC Markets.If you are thinking of using EA with this broker forget it.

From 6:00 am to 8:00 am on April 24, 2023, I traded according to the real-time quotation data of the platform, and made a profit of 5302.56 US dollars. When withdrawing funds, the platform said that there was a problem with the data provided by the data stream provider, denied the quotation at that time, and lost my profit of 5302.56 US dollars. Debited directly from the account. If the situation is a problem with the data flow provider, it should be resolved between the platform and the data flow provider, and the customer should not be responsible for the result. It is seriously suspected that the platform tampered with the quotation data without authorization, and did not settle with the customer according to the displayed quotation. Claims compensation of $5302.56.
On May 5, 2023, both transactions experienced serious slippage, one slipped $8.83, and the other slipped $8.88, resulting in a loss of $132.2 in the account, and then the platform only made up $132.2 to reset the account to zero. No compensation has been made other than that.
