FAIR MARKETS is a fair online forex broker perfect for me! Since everybody has his or her own preferences, it's difficult to find an one-size-suits-all forex company. However, this one is the best for me.

I have been trading with this FAIR MARKETS for almost half a year, and the current feeling is that it is worthy of the name, and it is indeed a fair market! I have profits and losses, but I control the risk relatively low so the losses are not too big.

How We Rate Brokers: Our ratings are based on user feedback, expert opinions, and a comprehensive analysis of the broker's features and services.

Broker Overview

Founded in 2021, Fair Markets is a forex and CFD broker that operates under two primary entities: Fair Markets Trading Pty Ltd, regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), and Fair Markets International Ltd, regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC). The broker offers trading through the widely-used MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms, providing access to over 500 trading instruments, including currency pairs, commodities, stocks, indices, and cryptocurrencies.

Detailed Breakdown

Regulatory Regions

Fair Markets operates under two regulatory bodies: ASIC in Australia and FSC in Mauritius. While ASIC is considered a tier-one regulator, providing a level of safety for traders, the FSC is less stringent, raising concerns about the broker's overall reliability.

Deposit/Withdrawal Currency and Cryptocurrency

The broker accepts deposits in USD, EUR, and GBP, with various payment methods including bank transfers, credit cards, and e-wallets like Skrill. However, the lack of cryptocurrency deposit options may be a drawback for some traders.

Minimum Deposit

Fair Markets has an attractive minimum deposit requirement of just $1 for most accounts, making it accessible for new traders. However, the VIP variable account requires a minimum deposit of $5,000.

Bonuses/Promotions

The broker offers a 100% welcome bonus on the first deposit, which can be appealing to new traders looking to increase their trading capital. However, terms and conditions for bonuses should be carefully reviewed as they often come with strict trading volume requirements.

Tradable Asset Classes

Fair Markets provides access to a diverse range of asset classes, including over 45 currency pairs, CFDs on commodities, indices, stocks, and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

Costs (Spreads, Fees, Commissions)

Spreads at Fair Markets vary by account type, starting from 0.0 pips on the Raw Zero account but incurring a commission of $10 per lot. The Standard accounts have spreads starting from 1.2 pips with no commission, which can be competitive compared to other brokers. However, some user reviews indicate discrepancies in actual spreads, especially during high volatility.

Leverage

The broker offers leverage up to 1:400, which can enhance profit potential but also increases risk. This leverage is higher than many competitors, making it attractive for experienced traders.

Allowed Trading Platforms

Fair Markets supports trading on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, both of which are popular among traders for their advanced charting tools, automated trading capabilities, and user-friendly interfaces.

Restricted Regions

While Fair Markets is available in many countries, it is not accessible to traders in the United Kingdom, which could limit its appeal in one of the largest forex markets.

Available Customer Support Languages

Customer support is available in multiple languages, including English, which can help cater to a diverse range of traders. However, support is limited to weekdays, which may be a drawback for those needing assistance during weekends.

Detailed Explanations

Account Conditions

Fair Markets offers various account types, including Standard Fixed, Standard Variable, VIP Variable, and Raw Zero accounts. Most accounts have no minimum deposit requirement, which is appealing for beginners. However, the VIP Variable account requires a higher initial investment, potentially limiting access for some traders.

Tools and Resources

While Fair Markets provides basic trading tools and educational resources, such as e-books and webinars, many users feel that these resources are insufficient for more experienced traders. The lack of a comprehensive educational platform may deter those looking for in-depth training.

Customer Service and Support

Customer service has received mixed reviews, with some users reporting long response times and limited availability during weekends. While the support operates 24/5, the absence of weekend support can be a significant drawback for traders who may need assistance outside of standard business hours.

Trading Setup/Experience

User experiences with Fair Markets vary, with some traders praising the ease of use of the trading platforms, while others have reported issues with slippage and withdrawal delays. This inconsistency in trading experience may affect overall satisfaction.

Trustworthiness

Despite being regulated by ASIC, user reviews have raised concerns about Fair Markets, particularly regarding slow withdrawal times and mixed experiences with customer service. This has led to questions about the broker's overall trustworthiness.

User Experience

Overall, the user experience with Fair Markets is average. While the platforms are user-friendly, issues with customer support and withdrawal processes have led to a less favorable impression among some users.

In conclusion, Fair Markets presents an attractive option for new traders due to its low minimum deposit and range of trading instruments. However, potential users should carefully consider the mixed reviews and regulatory aspects before committing funds to this broker.
