SpeedTrader Account Types

SpeedTrader offers several types of brokerage accounts tailored to different trading needs:

• Individual Account: A personal investment account registered under one person's name. Available for equities and options trading.
• Forms Needed: Account application.
• Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship: A joint account where ownership reverts to the surviving tenant upon death. Equities and options trading are available.
• Forms Needed: Account application, joint agreement – rights of survivorship.
• Joint Tenants in Common: A joint account where the surviving tenant is entitled only to their pro-rata share upon death. Equities and options trading are available.
• Forms Needed: Account application, joint agreement – tenants in common.
• Corporate Account: Registered in the name of the corporation, available for equities and options trading.
• Forms Needed: Account application, corporate agreement, articles and certificate of incorporation, copies of IDs for all officers.
• Limited Liability Corporation (LLC): Registered in the name of the LLC with at least one individual granted full trading authorization. Equities and options trading are available.
• Forms Needed: Account application, LLC authorization, articles and/or certificate of incorporation, copies of IDs for all officers.
• Sole Proprietorship: Registered in the name of the sole proprietorship, available for equities and options trading.
• Forms Needed: Account application, sole ownership affidavit, articles and certificate of incorporation, copies of IDs for all officers.
• Partnership: Registered in the name of the partnership, available for equities and options trading.
• Forms Needed: Account application, partnership account agreement, partnership documents, copies of IDs for all partners.
• Revocable Personal Trust: Opened under the legal name of the trust, using a person's social security number if revocable. Equities and options trading are allowed if permitted by the trust.
• Forms Needed: Account application, trustee certification, trust agreement, copies of IDs for all trustees and beneficiaries.
• Non-Revocable Personal Trust: Opened under the legal name of the trust, using a tax ID number. Equities and options trading are allowed if permitted by the trust.
• Forms Needed: Account application, trustee certification, trust agreement, copies of IDs for all trustees and beneficiaries.

SpeedTrader Broker Account Opening Process

To open an account with SpeedTrader, follow these steps:

• Choose Account Type: Select the appropriate account type based on your trading needs (e.g., Individual, Joint, Corporate).

• Complete Application: Fill out the account application form specific to the chosen account type.

• Submit Required Documents: Depending on the account type, submit necessary documents such as:

• Corporate agreement and incorporation documents for corporate accounts.
• IDs for all officers or partners for corporate and partnership accounts.
• Trustee certification and trust agreements for trust accounts.
• Initial Deposit: Make the required minimum deposit:
• Active Web and Mobile Accounts: $2,500 minimum.
• SpeedTrader Pro Accounts: $10,000 minimum.

• Verification: Your application and documents will be reviewed for verification.

• Account Activation: Once approved, you will receive confirmation, and you can start trading.
