ARTA TechFin broker Accounts
Arta TechFin offers two main types of accounts for its members at their broker/dealer and custodian, BNY Mellon | Pershing:
- Self-Managed Account:
- Purpose: This account allows for self-directed trading of securities such as stocks and ETFs. It acts as a holding area for cash before it is allocated to specific investments.
- Functionality: All funds deposited into Arta initially land in the self-managed account. While waiting for deployment, these funds are invested in a money market fund to accrue interest. When an investment is liquidated, the cash is deposited back into this account for further investment or withdrawal.
- Full-Discretion Account:
- Purpose: Arta has full discretion over this account, which includes trading, portfolio allocation, and rebalancing.
- Functionality: Funds are transferred from the self-managed account to the full-discretion account when an AI-managed portfolio (AMP) is created.
