Roth IRAs are retirement accounts where contributions are made on an after tax basis and withdrawals are tax-free. Traditional IRAs are retirement accounts where contributions are made on a pre-tax basis and withdrawals are taxable. Commissions The commissions vary from product to product. For example, in terms of Stocks and ETFs, online trades is $0.005 per share, minimum is $5.00 and maximum is 1.0% of trade value.
