For instance, the Citi Priority Investing package requires a $30 monthly service fee, waived with a combined balance of $30,000. Meanwhile, Citigold requires a minimum balance of $200,000 and provides access to professional guidance and extensive research.

      

    Citi Group Broker Account Opening Process

      To open a brokerage account with Citi Group, follow these steps:

    • Visit Citi Online: Log into your Citi account and navigate to the "Investments and Deposits" section.
    • Select Account Type: Choose the type of investment account you wish to open (e.g., brokerage, managed account).
    • Complete the Application: Fill out the required information, including personal details and financial information.
    • Review Terms: Acknowledge that you have read the information regarding investment products and confirm the account opening process.
    • Submit Your Request: After submitting your application, your account will typically be opened within 3 working days.
    •   Citi Group may require additional documentation to verify your identity and eligibility, especially for certain account types. Ensure you have your government-issued identification and any other necessary documents ready during the application process.
