MetaTrader Account Types

MetaTrader offers two main types of accounts for traders: Demo Accounts and Real Accounts.

• Demo Accounts:
• Designed for practice and learning, demo accounts allow users to trade without risking real money.
• They provide all the functionalities of real accounts and are ideal for testing trading strategies.
• No initial investment is required, and users cannot earn profits from demo accounts.
• Real Accounts:
• These accounts require a minimum deposit (usually starting from $10) and are used for actual trading.
• They offer the potential for real profits and losses.
• Users must provide personal details and complete a registration process to open a real account.

MetaTrader Broker Account Opening Process

Opening an account with a MetaTrader broker involves several steps:

• Select a Server:
• Choose a server with the lowest ping for optimal performance. You can add new servers by specifying the address and port.
• Choose Account Type:
• Select either an existing trade account by entering your login and password or create a new demo or real account.
• Provide Personal Details:
• Enter required information such as:
• Full Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Account Type (Demo or Real)
• Initial Deposit Amount
• Base Currency
• Leverage
• Agree to Terms:
• Confirm your agreement to subscribe to newsletters to proceed.
• Receive Account Information:
• After successful registration, you will receive your account login, password, and investor password via the terminal's mailbox.
• Start Trading:
• Once registered, the new account will appear in the navigator, and you can log in and start trading.
