General Information The founder and pioneer chairman of Interstate Securities Limited (ISL), Late Chief (Dr.) Samuel Oyewole Asabia, formed the company in 1984. In March 1985, ISL started operating as a trading member of the Nigerian Exchange Limited. The Company is registered as a Broker/Dealer and an Issuing House with the Securities and Exchange Commission. ISL also holds an FMDQ Trading License. Investment Products ISL trades on the floors of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (The Exchange) on a daily basis, purchasing and selling shares of listed companies in accordance with the policies and guidelines established by the regulatory bodies to oversee such transactions. ISL is authorized to trade in shares of public businesses that aren't listed on the Exchange since it is also registered to do so in the “Over The Counter” market. ISL will make its Order Management System (OMS) platform, Intertrade, available to its clients upon request. With the most recent cloud-based technology being used, our clients may now individually initiate and execute transactions using their own devices from anywhere in the globe.
