Time flies so fast, this broker has been offshore for two years. Initially attracted by their attractive trading conditions and the MT5 trading platform, I chose them without further investigation on impulse. The trading process was overall smooth, but withdrawals were always slow, but now that that's all passed, I have a better broker.

They placed trade against traders. The reason behind my perception is that they does not close the trade on stop loss. Rather they wait to wipe out the balance and then executes the stop loss.

Overbit 2025 Review: Everything You Need to Know

Overbit has emerged as a notable player in the cryptocurrency trading sphere, offering users a unique blend of cryptocurrency, forex, and precious metal trading opportunities. However, as our analysis reveals, the platform has faced significant scrutiny regarding its operational practices, particularly concerning user withdrawals and regulatory compliance. This review provides a comprehensive overview of Overbit, its features, and user experiences, highlighting key strengths and weaknesses.

Note: It is important to recognize that Overbit is registered in Seychelles, which may impact its regulatory standing compared to brokers based in more established financial jurisdictions. This aspect should be considered for a fair and accurate assessment of the platform.

Broker Overview

Founded in 2018, Overbit is operated by Abberton Trading Limited, which is based in Seychelles. The platform is designed to facilitate trading across multiple asset classes, including cryptocurrencies, forex, and metals, all using Bitcoin as the underlying asset. Overbit does not utilize popular trading platforms like MT4 or MT5 but offers its proprietary interface, which is noted for its user-friendly design. However, the lack of a mobile application could deter some traders.

Detailed Analysis

Regulatory Areas

Overbit operates primarily in regions outside the United States, Canada (Quebec), Syria, Iran, North Korea, and Sudan. The platform's lack of regulation from major financial authorities has raised red flags for many potential users, as noted in various reviews. This absence of oversight could lead to concerns about the safety of user funds and the overall reliability of the trading environment.

Deposit/Withdrawal Currencies

The platform exclusively accepts Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) for deposits and withdrawals. The minimum deposit required to open an account is 0.0001 BTC, which is relatively low compared to other exchanges. However, users must undergo a Know Your Customer (KYC) process to withdraw funds, which involves submitting identity verification documents.

Bonuses/Promotions

Overbit offers a unique rewards system where users can earn tier points (TP) for trading activities, which can later be redeemed for Bitcoin. Additionally, there are occasional promotions, such as a deposit bonus of $200 for new users who deposit a minimum of 0.2 BTC. However, the terms of these promotions can be complex and may not always be favorable for users.

Tradable Asset Classes

Users can trade a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), and several others. The platform also allows trading in forex pairs and metals like gold and silver. However, the selection of cryptocurrencies is limited compared to other exchanges, which may deter traders looking for a broader range of options.

Costs (Spreads, Fees, Commissions)

Overbit does not charge any trading commissions, which is a significant advantage. Instead, it operates on a spread basis, with an average spread of around 0.075% for trades. Users should also be aware of funding fees that apply to positions held overnight, which are charged three times a day. This structure may be appealing to high-frequency traders but could add up for those holding positions longer.

Leverage

The platform offers leverage up to 100x for cryptocurrency trading and up to 500x for forex trading. While high leverage can lead to substantial profits, it also increases the risk of significant losses, making it essential for traders to manage their risk carefully.

Allowed Trading Platforms

Overbit operates its proprietary trading platform, which integrates with TradingView for charting and technical analysis. While the platform is functional and user-friendly, the absence of a mobile app may limit accessibility for some traders.

Restricted Regions

As mentioned earlier, Overbit is not available to residents of several countries, including the United States. This restriction could limit its user base significantly, especially given the growing interest in cryptocurrency trading in these regions.

Available Customer Service Languages

Overbit supports multiple languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Russian. However, user reviews indicate that customer service can be slow to respond, and some users have reported challenges in resolving their issues.
