The account opening charges for both Trading and Demat accounts are ₹0, and there is an annual maintenance charge (AMC) of ₹400 for the Demat account.

Geojit Broker Account Opening Process

Opening an account with Geojit is a straightforward process that can be completed in several ways:

• Online Account Opening:
• Visit the official Geojit website and click on the “Open Account” option.
• Sign up using your mobile number and verify it with an OTP.
• Enter your personal details, including your PAN number and date of birth.
• Upload the required documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, address proof, and a recent bank statement.
• Complete the e-KYC process, which may involve an Aadhaar-based verification.
• Upon successful verification, you will receive your trading account credentials via email.
• Request a Callback:
• Go to the Geojit website and fill in your mobile number to request a callback.
• A Geojit representative will contact you to assist with the account opening process.
• Visit a Branch:
• Locate a nearby Geojit branch and visit in person.
• The branch staff will guide you through the account opening process and assist you with the necessary documentation.

After submitting your application, it typically takes a few days for the account to be activated, provided all documents are in order.
