  1. 3-in-1 Account: This account integrates a savings account, trading account, and demat account, allowing for seamless transactions between all three accounts. It is designed for both resident Indians and NRIs, facilitating easy investments in equities, mutual funds, and other financial products.

  2. Trading Account: A standalone account that allows investors to buy and sell securities in the stock market. It is necessary for executing trades and is linked to the demat account for holding securities.

  3. Demat Account: This account holds securities in electronic form, eliminating the need for physical certificates. It is essential for trading in the stock market and is linked to the trading account for easy management of investments.

SBI Securities Broker Account Opening Process

To open an account with SBI Securities, follow these steps:

  1. Online Application:
  • Visit the official SBI Securities website.
  • Click on the "Open an Account" option.
  • Fill in the required details such as name, email, and mobile number.
  • Submit the form and await a call from a local SBI relationship manager to assist you through the process.
  1. Branch Visit:
  • Visit any SBI Securities branch.
  • Fill out the account opening forms provided by the staff.
  • Submit the required documents including PAN card, Aadhaar card, and a passport-sized photograph.
  1. Missed Call Service:
  • Give a missed call at 092667 92667.
  • A customer service representative will call you back to explain the account opening process and assist you further.

The account opening charges are ₹850 for a trading account and ₹750 per year for the demat account (free for the first year).
