    • Have the widest set of privileges.

    • Remove the profile from their account.
    • Managers:
      • Hold administrative rights to manage the business profile.
      • Can perform most actions on the business profile, including:

      • Provide access to other users.
      • Can edit business information and view insights about engagement.
      • Site Managers:
        • Can interact with customers on behalf of the profile.

        GMB Broker Account Opening Process

        To open a Google My Business account, follow these steps:

        • Create a Google Account:
          • Go to accounts.google.com.
          • Click “Create account” and select “To manage my business.”
          • Fill in the necessary information.
          • Register Your Business Profile:
            • Go to google.com/business.
            • Click “Start now” and enter your business name.
            • If your business name appears, select it; otherwise, choose to create a business with that name.
            • Enter Business Location:
              • If you have a physical location, add your address.
              • If you operate in a service area, indicate that you deliver goods and services.
              • Fill in Contact Information:
                • Provide your business phone number and website address.
                • Ensure all information is accurate and consistent.
                • Choose Business Category:
                  • Select the category that best fits your business to influence search visibility.
                  • Verification:
                    • Google requires verification to confirm ownership.
                    • Verification methods include:
                    • Postcard by Mail: Receive a postcard with a verification code.
                    • Phone Verification: Receive an automated text message with a code (if eligible).
                    • Email Verification: Get a verification code sent to your official business email.
                    • Instant Verification: If your website is verified with Google Search Console.
                    • Bulk Verification: For businesses managing more than 10 locations.
                    • Complete Setup:
                      • After verification, review your information and click “Done editing” to finish the setup process.
