CAF Investment Account Types

The CAF Investment Account offers a range of investment options tailored for charitable organizations. However, due to a strategic review, the CAF Investment Account is being closed. The account types previously available included:

• Cash Balance Account: For organizations holding only cash, which will be closed on June 10, 2021, with all balances returned to linked bank accounts.
• Investment Account: For organizations holding investments, which will be closed on July 10, 2021. Customers need to make alternative arrangements for their investments within this timeframe.

CAF Broker Account Opening Process

To open a CAF Investment Account, follow these steps:

• Eligibility: Ensure your organization is a registered charity, and the primary contact must be a UK resident.
• Application Form: Download the application form from the CAF website or request one via email at cafbank@cafonline.org.
• Submit Documentation: Provide necessary documentation, including:
• Charity registration number or registered company number.
• Governing document of the charity.
• Processing Time: Applications are typically processed within four weeks, but may take longer during peak periods.
• Contact Information: For assistance, call 03000 123 456 (Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm).

Please note that applications for the CAF Investment Account will no longer be accepted as the service is being closed. Existing customers are encouraged to reach out to the client relations team for further assistance.
