      AGF Broker Account Opening Process

        Opening an account with AGF is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few steps:

      • Select Your Account Type:
        • Decide between a non-registered account or a registered account based on your financial goals.
        • Gather Required Information:
          • Prepare personal information, including your legal name, address, Social Security number (or tax ID), and banking information.
          • Complete the Application:
            • You can typically complete the application online in under 15 minutes. AGF may require you to provide identification and proof of address.
            • Fund Your Account:
              • After approval, link your bank account to transfer funds electronically. You may also have the option to send a check. Funds may take a few days to become available.
              • Start Investing:
                • Once your account is funded, you can begin investing in various securities offered by AGF.
