    AFG Broker Account Opening Process

      Opening a broker account with AFG involves several straightforward steps:

    •   Initial Inquiry: Prospective brokers should submit an inquiry to AFG to express their interest in becoming a broker.

    •   Documentation: Brokers are required to provide necessary documentation, including identification, credit checks, and professional qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking).

    •   Membership with Industry Bodies: Brokers must obtain membership with relevant industry bodies such as MFAA or FBAA, and also register with AFCA for consumer protection.

    •   Choose Account Type: Brokers will select the type of account that best suits their business needs (Residential, Commercial, Aggregator, or Flex).
