Zerodha Broker Account Opening Process

To open a broker account with Zerodha, follow these steps:

  • Choose a Type of Account: Decide whether you want a Regular Demat Account or a BSDA based on your investment needs.

  • Visit the Zerodha Website: Go to the official Zerodha website and select the 'Open an Account' option.

  • Fill Out the Application Form: Provide necessary details such as your full name, mobile number, email address, and other personal information.

  • Verify Your Mobile Number: You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) for verification. Enter the OTP to proceed.

  • Submit KYC Documents: Upload the required KYC documents, including:

    • PAN Card
    • Aadhaar Card or any other identity proof
    • Address proof (utility bill, passport, etc.)
    • Bank details (cancelled cheque)
    • In-Person Verification: Some processes may require in-person verification, which can be conducted via video call.

    • Receive Account Credentials: Once your application is processed and approved, you will receive your Demat account number and other login credentials via email.
