VNF Account Type

VNF offers various types of brokerage accounts to cater to different investor needs. The primary account types available include:

• Individual Trading Account: Designed for individual investors, allowing them to trade securities directly.
• Indirect Investment Capital Account (II CA): Required for foreign investors, this account enables trading through a local broker.
• Custody Account: For institutional investors, allowing them to hold securities with a custodian.
• Securities Trading Code: Necessary for opening trading accounts, particularly for foreign investors.

VNF Broker Account Opening Process

To open an account with VNF, investors must follow a structured process:

For Foreign Individual Investors:

• Open an Indirect Investment Capital Account (II CA):
• Required at any commercial bank licensed for foreign exchange (e.g., BIDV, HSBC).
• Apply for Securities Trading Code:
• Submit the following documents:
• 01 original copy of the securities trading code application form.
• 01 original copy of the letter of authorization.
• 02 notarized copies of a valid passport.
• Open a Securities Trading Account:
• Provide:
• 02 original copies of the contract for account opening.
• 01 original copy of the securities trading code.
• 01 copy of valid passport.
• 01 original copy of the notarized power of attorney (if applicable).
• 01 original copy of the authorized person's valid passport.

For Foreign Institutional Investors:

• Open an Indirect Investment Capital Account (II CA): Same as above.
• Open a Custody Account: At a custodian member.
• Apply for Securities Trading Code: Submit similar documents as for individual investors.
• Appoint VNF as the Broker.
• Open a Securities Trading Account:
• Provide:
• 02 original copies of the contract for account opening.
• 01 legal copy of the business license.
• 01 original copy of the securities trading code.
• 01 legal copy of the ID card/passport of the legal representative.
• Additional documents if a trading representative is appointed.
