I already have a couple of investments with Capex, mostly in commodities and I'm doing well, at first I had losses, but I think it was mostly due to inexperience, after reviewing the educational material I was able to improve a lot.

CAPEX, established in 2016 and regulated by multiple authorities including CySEC and FSCA, has carved a niche as a versatile trading platform offering over 2,100 financial instruments. Broker Overview

CAPEX is a Cyprus-based broker offering a wide range of trading instruments, including forex, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. The platform provides access to both the proprietary CAPEX WebTrader and the widely used MetaTrader 5 (MT5). CAPEX is regulated by CySEC and has additional licenses from other jurisdictions, ensuring a secure trading environment.

Detailed Breakdown

  • Regulated Regions: CAPEX operates under the supervision of CySEC in Cyprus, FSCA in South Africa, and ADGM in the UAE. However, it does not accept clients from the United States, Canada, and Japan due to regulatory restrictions.

  • Deposit/Withdrawal Currencies: The broker supports multiple currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, and others. While CAPEX does not charge for deposits or withdrawals, third-party fees may apply based on the payment method used.

  • Minimum Deposit: The minimum deposit to open an account is $100, which is competitive compared to many brokers. However, the recommended initial deposit for more advanced accounts starts at $1,000.

  • Bonuses/Promotions: CAPEX does not currently offer bonuses or promotions, adhering to regulations that limit such incentives in the EU.

  • Tradable Asset Classes: CAPEX provides a diverse range of trading instruments, including over 55 forex pairs, more than 2,000 stocks, commodities, indices, ETFs, and a selection of cryptocurrencies.

  • Costs: The trading costs are primarily derived from spreads, which can start as low as 0.01 pips for major currency pairs. CAPEX does not charge commissions on trades, but there is an inactivity fee of $30 after 12 months without trading activity.

  • Leverage: The maximum leverage for retail clients is capped at 1:30, in line with ESMA regulations, while professional clients may access leverage up to 1:300.

  • Tools and Resources (8/10): CAPEX excels in educational offerings, with the CAPEX Academy providing a wealth of resources, including video tutorials and market analysis.

  • Customer Service and Support (6/10): Feedback on customer service is mixed, with some users noting slow response times, particularly regarding withdrawal requests.

  • Trading Setup (7/10): The availability of both WebTrader and MT5 allows for a flexible trading experience, although the absence of MT4 may deter some traders.

  • Trustworthiness (8/10): CAPEX is well-regulated, with client funds held in segregated accounts, providing a level of security that traders appreciate.

  • User Experience (7/10): Users generally find the platform intuitive, but the learning curve for MT5 may be steep for beginners.

  • In conclusion, CAPEX presents itself as a solid option for traders looking for a regulated environment with a diverse range of assets. However, potential users should weigh the minimum deposit requirements and customer service responsiveness before proceeding.
