Opening an account with 5paisa is straightforward and can be done online or offline. Heres how:
Personal Details: Enter your PAN number, Aadhar number, and basic personal information. Most details will be auto-filled from the eKYC database.
Bank Details: Provide your bank account number and IFSC code to link your bank account for fund transfers.
Document Upload: Upload necessary documents, including:
Payment: Make the payment for account opening fees. The trading account opening fee is ₹650, while the demat account opening is free.
E-sign Application: Complete the e-sign process using your Aadhar OTP. If you do not have an Aadhar, you will need to send a signed physical application form to 5paisa's office.
Once the application is submitted, the account is typically activated within a few hours if all documents are in order. If you opt for the offline method, it may take up to 2 working days after the documents are received.
