Another issue I've had with Currency.com is the limited educational resources they provide. I understand that not every broker is going to offer extensive training materials, but I feel like I'm left to my own devices more often than not. It would be nice to have more guidance on how to improve my trading skills, especially since I'm still relatively new to this.

I'm feeling pretty good about Currency.com. The leverage options are pretty sweet, and the trading platform is smooth as butter. Plus, they got all these advanced charting tools and analysis that make it easy to get the info I need to make moves. That being said, there are a few things about Currency.com that have frustrated me. One is the high swap fees, which have eaten into my profits. It's not a deal breaker, but it does mean that I need to be extra careful when holding positions overnight.

Broker Overview

Founded in 2018, Currency.Com is a Belarus-based trading platform that allows users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies alongside tokenized versions of traditional financial assets such as stocks, commodities, and indices. The platform operates under the regulatory framework established by the High Technology Park in Belarus, ensuring compliance with local laws. Currency.Com offers a proprietary trading platform that does not support popular platforms like MT4 or MT5, but it provides a user-friendly interface that caters to both novice and experienced traders. Users can trade a diverse range of assets, with plans to expand its offerings to over 10,000 tokenized assets in the future.

Detailed Section

Regulated Geographic Areas

Currency.Com is regulated primarily in Belarus, with operations extending to several other jurisdictions. However, it is important to note that U.S. residents face significant limitations, as the platform does not allow full access to its services. This restriction significantly impacts its global reach and user base.

Deposit/Withdrawal Currencies/Cryptocurrencies

Currency.Com supports multiple fiat currencies, including USD, EUR, GBP, RUB, and BYN, along with various cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. Users can deposit funds via bank transfer or credit/debit cards, with a minimum deposit requirement of just $5 for cryptocurrencies, making it accessible for many traders.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit for Currency.Com is notably low, starting at just $5, which is attractive for new investors looking to enter the cryptocurrency market without significant capital. However, users should be aware that there are fees associated with credit card deposits, which can reach up to 3.5%.

Bonuses/Promotions

As of now, Currency.Com does not offer any promotional bonuses or incentives for new users. This lack of promotional activity may deter some potential investors who are used to platforms that provide bonuses for new account registrations.

Tradable Asset Classes

Currency.Com boasts an extensive range of tradable assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, commodities, indices, and government bonds. This diverse offering allows traders to build a well-rounded portfolio. However, it's crucial to note that tokenized assets do not represent actual ownership of the underlying assets but are instead derivatives that mirror their market prices.

Costs (Spreads, Fees, Commissions)

The fee structure at Currency.Com has received mixed reviews. Trading fees for cryptocurrencies start at 0.20%, while leveraged trading incurs a fee of 0.075%. Additionally, tokenized assets can be traded with zero fees, which is a significant advantage. However, users have reported confusion regarding the overall fee structure, indicating a need for greater transparency.

Leverage

Currency.Com offers leverage options of up to 500x on certain assets, which can amplify both potential gains and risks. This high leverage is attractive for experienced traders but may pose significant risks for those less familiar with leveraged trading.

Allowed Trading Platforms

Currency.Com employs its proprietary trading platform, which is accessible via web and mobile applications. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, featuring various analytical tools and resources to assist traders in making informed decisions. However, it does not support third-party trading platforms like MT4 or MT5, which could be a drawback for some users.

Restricted Areas

U.S. residents are unable to access the full features of Currency.Com, limiting its appeal in a significant market. The platform is also not available in several other jurisdictions, which can restrict its global user base.

Available Customer Service Languages

Currency.Com offers customer support in multiple languages, including English, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese. The support team is available 24/7 via email, live chat, and phone, providing users with assistance as needed.

In conclusion, Currency.Com presents a compelling option for traders interested in a diverse range of tokenized assets and cryptocurrencies.
