Khwezi Trade, officially known as Khwezi Financial Services (Pty) Ltd, was founded in 2013. The company is headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, and has a significant presence in Johannesburg. As a privately held entity, Khwezi Trade focuses on providing tailored trading services primarily to South African clients.
Over the years, Khwezi Trade has established itself as a reputable player in the forex and CFD trading market, offering a variety of trading instruments and account types. The company has received recognition for its commitment to customer service and has been awarded the title of "Best Broker South Africa" by Global Brands Magazine in 2020 and 2021.
Khwezi Trade operates under a market maker model, facilitating retail forex trading and CFDs. The broker aims to provide a user-friendly trading environment with competitive spreads and reliable execution. It is particularly focused on local traders, offering accounts denominated in South African Rand (ZAR) to eliminate currency conversion fees.
Khwezi Trade is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa, holding the license number FSP 44816. This regulation ensures that the broker adheres to strict guidelines designed to protect traders and maintain market integrity.
The FSCA oversees the conduct of financial institutions in South Africa, ensuring compliance with the Financial Markets Act and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act. Khwezi Trade is also recognized as an Over-the-Counter Derivative Provider (ODP), which allows it to issue and market OTC derivatives such as CFDs.
Client funds are held in segregated accounts at reputable local banks, ensuring that traders' capital is protected from any potential misuse. Khwezi Trade implements robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies to further safeguard client interests.
Khwezi Trade offers a diverse range of trading products, primarily focusing on forex, indices, and commodities. The broker provides access to 60 forex currency pairs, including major pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/ZAR.
In addition to forex, Khwezi Trade allows trading in various indices, such as the Dow Jones and Nasdaq, and commodities like gold, silver, and crude oil. However, it does not currently offer trading in cryptocurrencies or individual stocks, which may limit diversification options for some traders.
The broker is committed to expanding its product offerings, and updates are made periodically to enhance the trading experience. Retail trading services are the primary focus, although institutional services may also be available upon request.
Khwezi Trade exclusively uses the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform, a widely recognized trading platform known for its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features. The MT4 platform supports various trading strategies, including automated trading through Expert Advisors (EAs) and custom indicators.
The broker does not currently offer a proprietary trading platform or support for MetaTrader 5 (MT5), which may limit options for traders who prefer the latest technology. However, the MT4 platform is accessible via desktop, web, and mobile applications, allowing traders to manage their accounts conveniently.
Khwezi Trade's execution model is based on Market Making, which means that trades are executed directly by the broker. The broker maintains a robust technical infrastructure to ensure reliable trade execution and minimize latency.
Khwezi Trade offers four live account types: Basic, Standard, Premier, and VIP. The minimum deposit for the Basic account starts at ZAR 500, while the VIP account requires a minimum deposit of ZAR 50,000.
All accounts are commission-free, and leverage can reach up to 1:400, depending on the account type. The minimum trade size is 0.01 lots, and the margin call and stop-out levels are set at 100% and 30%, respectively.
Khwezi Trade also provides a demo account for traders to practice their strategies without risk.
Khwezi Trade supports various deposit methods, including bank transfers, credit cards, and debit cards. The minimum deposit requirement is ZAR 500 for the Basic account and USD 50 for the USD account.
Deposits are processed quickly, typically within one business day, and there are no fees for deposits or withdrawals. Withdrawal requests can be made via email, and the processing time is usually 1 to 3 business days.
The broker does not charge any withdrawal fees, although first-time withdrawals may require additional verification, such as proof of identity and bank statements.
Khwezi Trade provides multiple customer support channels, including phone, email, and live chat. Support is available from 7 AM to 6 PM (GMT+2) on weekdays, and assistance is offered in several languages, including English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Sotho, and Xhosa.
The broker offers limited educational resources, primarily comprising basic video tutorials and market analysis. However, traders can access a subscription service for more in-depth analysis and trading signals.
While Khwezi Trade provides some educational materials, the overall quality and quantity are less comprehensive compared to other international brokers.
Khwezi Trade primarily serves the South African market and accepts clients from South Africa, Lesotho, and Namibia. The broker maintains physical offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, ensuring localized support for its clients.
However, Khwezi Trade does not accept clients from certain regions, including the United States and other countries where regulatory restrictions apply. This focus on the South African market allows the broker to tailor its services to local traders' needs.
In conclusion, Khwezi Trade is a regulated South African broker that offers a variety of trading products and services tailored to local traders. With a commitment to customer service and a user-friendly trading platform, Khwezi Trade aims to provide a reliable trading environment for both novice and experienced traders. However, potential clients should carefully consider the limited educational resources and product offerings before opening an account.

What this platform offering looks quite attractive, low minimum deposit, competitive spreads, mt5 trading platform… however, the most important thing is that it is not validly regulated, which means the money you put down here can disappear … My advice is that you can totally find a strictly regulated one. I’ve traded with various brokers and platforms for more than 10 years, and this is my fair warning here.

Trading on this platform is too expensive, the minimum deposit is more than two thousand dollars, and the spread is actually 10 points. I know the company needs to make money, but it doesn't have to be so greedy.
