MexDer broker Accounts

MexDer Account Type

MexDer offers several types of trading accounts tailored to different trading needs and routing behaviors. The account types include:

  • Routing (External Clearing): This account acts as a clearing account sent to the exchange for all orders. It appears in the user's list of routable accounts and is used to route orders and identify the account to the exchange.

  • Routing (Internal Sub-Account): This type defines a sub-account that is not routed to the exchange but allows internal routing for risk purposes. The parent account is sent to the exchange as the actual clearing account.

  • Non-Routing: Accounts of this type are not sent to the exchange and are recorded internally. They can be used for back-office purposes or as a parent risk account for grouping sub-accounts.

  • Audit Trail Only: These accounts are not sent to the exchange and are used for the TT FIX inbound drop copy service, allowing third parties to import their data sources.

  • Error Routing: This account is used to route order reject messages and is not routed to the exchange, nor is it part of account hierarchies.

  • Order Cross Prevention Options: Various rules can be applied to prevent order crossing, such as rejecting new orders or canceling resting orders.
