Pi Securities offers a variety of trading accounts to cater to different investment needs. Here are the main types of accounts available:

  • Cash Balance Account: This account requires you to fund your account to 100% of the value of the positions you want to open. The trading limit typically starts at 500,000 THB but can be increased upon request. Trades settle at T+2.

  • Cash Account: To open new positions, you must have collateral equivalent to at least 20% of the value of the positions. You can transfer stocks from other accounts, and your trading limit can go up to 5 times the value of your collateral.

  • Credit Balance / Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) Account: This account provides more flexibility for experienced traders. It allows borrowing and lending of securities to expand investment opportunities.

  • Global Equities Account: This account allows you to trade international stocks from the U.S. and Hong Kong. You need to fund your account to 100% of the value of the positions in Thai Baht, and your account value will be shown in USD.

  • Derivatives Account: Designed for experienced traders, this account allows trading in futures and options with leverage.

  • Funds Account: You can purchase units in mutual funds without depositing funding in advance, as the necessary amount is deducted from your bank account at the time of purchase.
