MERJ Account Type

MERJ offers two types of accounts for investors looking to engage in trading on their platform:

  • CSD Account (View Only): This account allows investors to view their current holdings but does not permit buying or selling (i.e., trading) any securities. It is primarily for those who want to monitor their investments without engaging in active trading.

  • Trading Account: For investors who are knowledgeable with trading applications, this account provides direct access to trade on the exchange. It is suitable for individuals who have experience with self-directed investing on similar platforms.

  • Important Note: MERJ currently only accepts new direct trading account applications from transferring customers of Amalga and PKF. This option is expected to reopen to others by October 1, 2024.
