DEME broker Accounts

Zerodha Account Type

Zerodha offers two main types of demat accounts: Normal Demat Account and Basic Services Demat Account (BSDA). The Normal Demat Account provides all the services available in a demat account without any limit on the value of holdings. In contrast, the BSDA is designed for low-volume investors, eliminating annual maintenance charges (AMC) if the value of holdings is less than ₹50,000 in equity or ₹1,00,000 in debt funds. This structure allows small investors to manage their costs effectively while participating in the stock market.
