CMBC offers various account types tailored to meet the needs of different clients. The primary account types include:
Corporate Current Deposit: This account is designed for businesses and allows for demand deposits that can be withdrawn at any time. It requires a minimum initial deposit of USD 250,000 for both U.S. registered companies and non-U.S. registered entities. Interest is calculated quarterly.
Checking Account: This non-cash account is used for daily settlement payments and can be utilized for payments via checks, telegraphic transfers, and other business transactions. It also requires an initial deposit of USD 250,000.
Demand Deposits: These accounts do not specify a deposit term and allow for flexible withdrawals. The minimum deposit for corporate customers is USD 50,000, while individuals need to deposit at least USD 10,000.
Time Deposits: These are fixed-term deposits with a minimum amount of USD 50,000 for corporate customers and USD 10,000 for individuals. Interest rates are determined by market conditions.
To open an account with CMBC, follow these steps:
Complete the Application Form: Fill out the account opening form, ensuring all required specimen signatures are included.
Submit Documentation: Submit the completed application form along with the required documents to CMBC.
Review and Approval: CMBC will review the submitted documents. Upon approval, they will issue a bank account number and provide the necessary permits for account management.
Deposit Funds: Make the initial deposit as required for the selected account type.
Confirmation: Once the account is set up, you will receive confirmation along with your account details.
