Individual Demat Account: Designed for resident Indian investors, it allows seamless buying, selling, and managing of securities in electronic form.
HUF Demat Account: Specifically for Hindu Undivided Families (HUF), enabling joint ownership of securities.
Corporate Demat Account: For corporations and partnership firms, allowing them to manage their investments and securities efficiently.
Partnership Firm Demat Account: For partnership firms to hold and manage securities collectively.
LLP Demat Account: Limited Liability Partnerships can also open accounts for managing their investments.

　　All accounts can be opened with zero account opening charges and no annual maintenance charges (AMC).

　　Opening an account with Dhan is a straightforward and fast process, typically taking less than 10 minutes. Heres how you can do it:

Visit the Dhan App or Website: Go to the Dhan official site or download the mobile app.
Click on "Open Demat Account": Start the account opening process by selecting this option.
Verify Mobile and Email: Enter your mobile number and email address, then verify them using the OTPs received.
Set a 6-Digit PIN: Create a secure 6-digit PIN for your account.
Upload Required Documents:

PAN Card: Mandatory for identification.
Address Proof: You can use Aadhaar, driving license, or passport.
Income Proof: Required for activating futures & options trading (e.g., salary slips, bank statements).
Signature: Upload a clear image of your signature on white paper.
Photograph: A recent passport-sized photo is required.

Link Bank Account: Enter your bank account details, including the IFSC code.
E-Sign the Application: Complete the process by verifying your Aadhaar number through OTP.
Account Activation: Once the documents are verified, you will receive your account details via email.
