  • Joint Account: Allows up to four individuals to jointly manage their investments, making it ideal for families or groups of friends.

  • All accounts require the account holder to have an existing BPI deposit account.

    BPI Trade Broker Account Opening Process

    Opening an account with BPI Trade involves a straightforward process that can be completed in several steps:

    • Eligibility: Ensure you are an existing BPI or BPI Family Bank account holder. If not, you need to open a savings account first.
    • Application: Visit the BPI Trade website and fill out the online application form. Print the completed form.
    • Documentation: Go to a BPI or BPI Family Bank branch with the following:
      • Printed application form.
      • Two (2) valid IDs (e.g., driver's license, passport).
      • Photocopies of the IDs.
      • Signature Verification: At the branch, you will complete additional forms and have your signatures verified by a branch officer.
      • Confirmation: Wait for a confirmation email regarding the activation of your BPI Trade account, which typically takes 1-2 weeks.
      • Funding the Account: Once activated, you can fund your account through various methods, including branch deposits, BPI Express Online, or telegraphic transfers.
      • Note: There is no minimum deposit needed to open a BPI Trade account, but you must maintain a monthly average daily balance of PHP 500 to avoid a service fee.
