3-in-1 Account: This account combines a savings account, trading account, and demat account, allowing seamless transactions between the three. There are no charges for opening a savings and demat account, but a one-time fee of ₹999 is charged for the trading account. The demat account has no annual maintenance fee for the first year, after which it incurs a charge of ₹750 annually.
Trading Account: This account enables clients to trade in various securities, including stocks, mutual funds, and derivatives. The brokerage fee for equity delivery trades is 0.10% per trade, with a minimum charge of ₹25.
Demat Account: This account is used to hold securities in electronic form. It is essential for trading in the stock market and incurs an annual maintenance fee after the first year.
Opening an account with HDFC Securities is a straightforward process. Here are the steps involved:
Visit the Website or App: Go to the HDFC Securities website or download the HDFC Securities mobile app.
Sign Up: Enter your mobile number and verify it using an OTP received on your registered mobile.
Personal Details: Fill in your personal details, including name, date of birth, and address.
Bank Details: Add your bank details by entering your bank name, account number, and IFSC code.
Choose Trading Plan: Select your preferred trading plan based on your trading needs.
Video KYC: Complete the video in-person verification process to verify your identity.
Documents Upload: Upload the necessary documents for KYC, including your PAN card, Aadhaar card, and a recent photograph.
E-sign Documents: Use your Aadhaar number to digitally sign the account opening documents through OTP verification.
Once you have completed all the steps, your application will be processed, and you will receive your account credentials via email within 2 to 5 working days.
