Swift Assistance Impresses Novice Customer with Top-notch Support

Very impressed with the speed with which help was offered when I asked for it. The quality of the help was excellent and I was treated as a valued customer throughout despite being a complete novice.

This company looks good, the minimum deposit is only 500, and it provides the MT4 platform that I like. But I noticed that its FCA regulatory license is a clone, and I went to the FCA official website to check that it is indeed the case. terrible!

How We Rated the Broker

Our ratings are derived from a comprehensive analysis of user feedback, expert opinions, and factual data regarding Varianse's offerings.

Broker Overview

Founded in 2015, Varianse is headquartered in the United Kingdom and operates under the regulation of the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). The broker provides access to popular trading platforms, including MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and cTrader. Varianse offers a wide range of tradable assets, including forex, CFDs, commodities, and indices. With a focus on institutional-grade services, the broker aims to cater to both novice and experienced traders.

Detailed Breakdown

  • Regulated Regions: Varianse is regulated in multiple jurisdictions, including the UK (FCA), Mauritius (FSC), and Labuan (LFSA). This multi-regulatory framework offers a degree of confidence to traders, although the effectiveness of oversight may vary by region.

  • Deposit/Withdrawal Currencies: Varianse supports various currencies for deposits and withdrawals, including USD, EUR, GBP, PLN, and JPY. Additionally, it allows cryptocurrency transactions, enhancing flexibility for users.

  • Minimum Deposit: The minimum deposit to open a standard account is $500, which is relatively high compared to some competitors. Higher account types, such as ECN Pro and Prime, require deposits of $5,000 and $50,000, respectively.

  • Bonuses/Promotions: Varianse does not appear to offer significant bonuses or promotions, which may deter some traders looking for incentives.

  • Tradable Asset Classes: Varianse provides access to over 200 instruments, including forex pairs, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. However, the selection is somewhat limited compared to other brokers, which might offer more diverse asset classes.

  • Costs (Spreads, Fees, Commissions): The broker operates on a mixed pricing model. Classic accounts have spreads starting from 1 pip with no commission, while ECN Pro accounts offer spreads from 0 pips but charge a commission of $3.50 per lot. This structure can be advantageous for high-volume traders but may be less appealing for those trading smaller amounts.

  • Leverage: Varianse offers leverage up to 1:30 for retail clients under FCA regulations, while professional clients can access up to 1:500 leverage. This flexibility allows experienced traders to manage larger positions with a smaller capital outlay.

  • Trading Platforms: Varianse supports popular platforms such as MT4 and cTrader, both of which are known for their robust trading capabilities and user-friendly interfaces. These platforms provide advanced charting tools, automated trading options, and real-time market data.

  • Restricted Regions: Currently, Varianse does not accept clients from the United States, which may limit its accessibility for some traders.

  • Available Customer Support Languages: Varianse primarily offers customer support in English, which may be a limitation for non-English speaking traders.

Detailed Analysis

  • Account Conditions: The minimum deposit requirement of $500 is higher than many competitors, which may deter new traders. However, the variety of account types allows for tailored experiences based on trading needs.

  • Tools and Resources: Varianse's educational resources are limited, with few structured materials available. This may hinder less experienced traders who seek comprehensive learning tools.

  • Customer Service and Support: Customer support is available during business hours but lacks 24/7 availability. While some users report positive experiences, others have noted delays in response times.

  • Trading Setup: The trading experience is generally positive, with competitive spreads and commissions for high-volume trading. However, users have reported issues with withdrawal fees and processing times.

  • Trustworthiness: Varianse is regulated by the FCA, which adds a level of trustworthiness. However, concerns about its offshore entities and mixed user reviews may raise red flags for some traders.

  • User Experience: Overall user experiences vary, with some praising the trading platforms and execution speeds, while others express dissatisfaction with withdrawal processes and customer support responsiveness.

  • In conclusion, Varianse is a regulated broker that offers a range of trading options for both retail and institutional clients. While it has several strengths, including access to advanced trading platforms and a diverse array of instruments, potential traders should carefully consider the higher minimum deposit requirements and the limited educational resources available. As always, conducting thorough research and weighing personal trading needs against the broker's offerings is essential before making a decision.
