Bridge Securities offers a variety of account types to cater to different investment needs. The primary account type available is the Stockbroking Account, which allows clients to trade securities of public companies and bonds listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The minimum amount required to open a stockbroking account is ₦100,000 (one hundred thousand naira), which can be funded via cheque, transfer of shares from other brokerage firms, or a combination of both.

Bridge Securities Broker Account Opening Process

To open an account with Bridge Securities, follow these steps:

• Submit Required Documents:
• Complete the account opening form (available for corporate, individual, and CSCS accounts).
• Provide a photocopy of your passport or drivers license.
• Include a passport photograph.
• Submit proof of address (e.g., a recent utility bill).
• Sign and stamp an email/facsimile indemnity.
• Review and accept the stock broking terms and conditions.
• Effect Payment:
• Make the initial payment via cheque or transfer of shares.
• Account Creation:
• Two accounts will be opened on your behalf:
• A stockbroking account with Bridge Securities.
• A Central Securities Clearing System Limited (CSCS) account.
• Accessing Your Account:
• Once your accounts are opened, you will receive online access along with your access code and password, allowing you to:
• Securely access your account 24/7.
• View detailed account statements and transaction history.
• Download account details to spreadsheets.
• Place purchase and sale mandates online, with notifications sent via email.
• Review the status of share certificates and account activity for up to 18 months.
